Not a huge loss this week, but a solid loss never the less. My target was (and still is) a loss of a pound a week. That way your body gets time to adjust to the change, which is supposed to reduce stretch marks and flabby skin.
That’s me now midway through a 2 day fast, and everything is going smoothly. After a fortnight of intermittent, every other day fasting, I am used to it and know what to expect. I am giving the 2 day fast a second try this week, to see if the dizzy spell I experienced last time was fast related or not. The difference this time round is I am now taking rehydration tablets, on fasting days, and tonight I will take a chocolate biscuit to keep beside my bed, just in case it happens again.
We have a dance class at lunch time, the first time we have done so on the second day of a fasting cycle, so it will be interesting to see how my energy levels keep up. It is also quite a mental exercise (remembering the sequence of steps and in what order we dance the set patterns), so it will be a trial of my mental acuity.
I’ll report back and let you know how I am getting on.

Great stuff, Jocko. Really glad it's working for you. The dancing must be good on many levels, physical, social and mental. Hope you have a great class.

Nice loss Jocko, as you say it's a solid loss not a silly one. I was told about the skin thing and, now I've given up smoking, my losses are smaller but I do feel happier about it as I don't want to be saggy! Have fun dancing.

I think the best way to lose weight is nice and slowly, even it is half a pound a week. Well done Jocko.

The dancing went well, I remembered all the steps, and my stomach didn't drown out the music. It was a hard hour though, fasting or not. Felt hungry on my return, but exercise does that. Having a coffee with cream to ease the pangs.

Awesome you are fasting like this, Jocko! It's surprising to me that you aren't losing more than a pound a week! Glad you dance lesson went off well, too.
