heidij123's Journal, 12 Jun 16

Did a bit of reading this week. One item was about how clothing sizes have changed in the last 60 years (Wikipedia article called 'Vanity Sizing'), which confirmed that the size 14 I was when I was younger is not the size 14 that I am now. And the other thing was looking up some different height/weight charts to check the 'healthy' range.

Result: I've now set myself an ultimate target weight of 135lbs (61kg).

Felt a little discumknockerated that I still have quite a way to go, as I don't think I'll get there till about December. But hey ho, I want to be firmly in the health weight range, so that holidays like the one I've just had don't push me over the limit. And I am determined to go for it 😁 I know I will feel fitter at that weight, and I'll be pleased to have shifted the excess flab that I still have around my waist and hips. And I'll be made up to be a size 12, even if size 12 isn't what it used to be!

I haven't reset my FS goal weight, as I like to see that colour bar changing, so still aiming for 145 initially.

I blame my weight gain on pants with elastic in them, they just keep on stretching and you don't really notice the weight gain.

Thanks all. I do agree about elastic waistbands and even stretch jeans! And RGG, well, yes, patience is the watchword. I will see if I can get some from the supermarket next time I go!

@Heidij123 - I'll see if I can post you some! Haha - I think I have a bit leftover from my... 1/10th kg recorded loss during the whole of May. I know I've lost more fat than that, but hormones and even the mildest injury can sure play merry hell with my head...
