chesgreen's Journal, 24 Feb 16

Good morning warriors. It's 4:45 AM and I need to clear snow off my car and start my commute process. Trust me is a process (my car to a commuter van, meet with others, someone drives us 100 miles across the state to the capital in Eastern, Mass, and at 4:52 pm, start the process back to Western, Mass)

Why the big weigh loss? Stomach bug. Yup. Vaught it sometime over the weekend and the eruptions started Sunday early am and continued through Tuesday afternoon. At least the they were only on the south side starting early Monday. TMI am sure. Starting eating again but sticking to soup.

That's all I got. Will reintroduce solid food slowly and now I will focus on getting in the 230's before next Wednesdays with in

Having coffee for the 1st time since Saturday. Ahh so good. I will skip this danish that has been sitting on my desk since Monday and wait until lunch to enjoy some home made chicken soup my mother made while taking care of one of my kids who now has the virus and has been out of school for two days while his mommy and daddy have to go to work. Thanks for the support. Getting better and keeping my fingers crossed that I reintroduce things slowly. I will try to get back on that treadmill today.

That's a tough way to lose the weight, but congrats on dropping nonetheless. Hopefully the worst of it is gone and you'll continue to feel better. Also crossing my fingers that it won't run the gamut through your whole family.

I hope you're feeling better. That's a heck of way to drop the pounds.

Hope you feel better! At least losing the weight was a nice silver lining.

I don't envy that commute, but you have to do what you must. I commuted 80 miles one and yes those cold snowy morning are brutal, glad I found something closer

Wow! So sorry you came by the pretty number the really hard way. Be well. Stay away from that infectious kid so you don't get sick again. Your mother is an angel.

What the heck, Ches? You live in Boston? My home town.
24 Feb 16 by member: HCB
Nope, I commute from Western Ma to Boston. A small town next to Springfield. Thanks all. Feeling the love. Nothing oozing or spewing out today finally. TMI, sorry. I was really sick. My dad updated me that "mini me" is holding down liquids today as well. Keeping my fingers crossed for the rest of crew including my parents who had to take care of him the today and yesterday hoping that they don't catch it.

I'm sorry, but this whole post is funny! NOT that Ches was sick, but all the commentary that ensued. "Crappy circumstances" ::snort-snort:: (couldn't help myself!), but nice drop!

Let's Go Red Sox....

Not sure which is worse for you, the flu or your commute. I grew up in Eastern Mass and went to school in Western Mass -- that drive was bad enough just a few times a year for four years. Kudos to you for staying sane doing that on a long-term, regular basis.
