northernmusician's Journal, 11 Dec 14

The last couple of days I've done really well. Weight is doing okay and I hope to hold it here until New Year is over. Once that's done, I will be back on a cut. Hope you're all having a great day.

Good for you, NM! How is Tika?

Tika is 25 pounds. That's a gain of 15 pounds in just under two months. She learns well and travels well. She'll have to. We will be traveling about 600 miles by road shortly. An awesome dog. I'll try to remember to get a couple of photos on tomorrow. Actually, I'll tell Tika. If she forgets, it's not my problem. :D

NM, good luck on maintaining through the holidays. Wish my pup would pay attention more. Smart, learns quick, gets excited and is in jumping up and down crazy land.

I love the FarSide cartoons. I have 4 compendiums. My favourite I think is called 'History of the Far Side' or something like that. Has a pic of a dinosaur skeleton on it. The first 30 pages or so is the odd cartoon (yeah, they're all odd) but most of it is him talking about where the ideas come from and some of the backlash. Priceless. If you know a FarSide fan and need a Christmas present, you can't beat that one.
