I haven't weighed in for 17 days and I'm struggling to avoid those sweet things around. When I scoff too much in a day now I simply just go for an extra run to compensate and from a weight perspective it seems to be working fairly well. My waist is still shrinking but very slowly now. I have just bought a two pairs of 33" and a pair of 32" waist trousers which all fit me very well. All of my recently bought 34" waisted trousers now need a belt to stay put but are still useable. My trouser count is now at nine and close to my top limit of ten. I do have a sort of excuse and some I bought a few months ago still need the legs hemming a job that I do not feel confident to tackle myself and probably never will. So I will have to wait for Claire on those ones.

I have been fairly busy on the home front - Moving a massive load of manure a farmer dropped on my front drive to the back garden over very wet grass, organising a new oven and routing a hole for a new hob then painting the kitchen. Next job is to knock up a bed base from old pallets so that our son has something better than an uncomfortable and too small sofa bed for when he arrives for Christmas.

My low heart rate running plan is now just over two month old and my main focus at the moment as I'm running around 200 km each month. It's going very well and my general pace continues to show monthly improvement. On Dec 12th I will have been doing HR running for three months and my HR base should be conditioned enough to allow me to run at full pace during a proper race when needed- Obs I'm looking forward to that. What's most important is though that I'm really enjoying it all even when I'm running in the wet.
