🙀🙀🙀🙀Well this is worse than I had hoped. I think this is what comes of trying to help everyone else have what they want and not sticking to my guns at least some of the time. As a yoyo, this strikes fear into my heart because I know that in the past this exact moment has been the upswing that undoes months and months of hard work. THEY SAY THAT 80% OF PEOPLE WHO LOSE WEIGHT GO ON TO GAIN ALL OF IT BACK AND MORE and this has been true for me every single time for over thirty years of diets. But I stepped on the scale today and am not pretending it isn’t happening and hopefully that is the change this time. There are still a lot of barriers to diet and exercise in my way this month, mostly accommodating other people around me, and a sedentary job, but I am going to really try hard to keep focus. 😭💪🏼🤝
77.5 kg Lost so far: 24.5 kg.    Still to go: 3.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

Don’t get me wrong, am not blaming others for me putting on half a stone! It’s more that circumstances are making it harder and I have not been able to successfully maintain weight loss my ENTIRE ADULT LIFE and I’m nearly 50. So recording this here is my way of trying to turn it round and get it right this time and maybe seeing this might help other people facing similar challenges.

It is certainly easier to put on weight than it is to take it off or even maintain. I am also influenced by what the people around me are eating which does add another layer of difficulty. But you have a good base fitness and the knowledge to get back to where you want to be. I am behind you 100%
