My calorie deficit this month is non existent and so it's no surprise that fact is being reflected in my weight not reducing. If I want to lose a 1kg this month I will need to try a bit harder in the second half of the month.

We visited the lost Gardens of Heligon this week and met up with some friends- Lovely place.
and in the garden picked our cucumber that by design looks more like a lemon.

I have just braved the rain and completed my standard 5 mile run, something that I will need to get used to this autumn and winter in Devon. The plan going forward is to complete three of these plus one 11 mile run each week whilst keeping my HR below 116 BPM.

No Chesters - The flowers are from the lost Gardens of Heligon in Cornwall but the Cucumber is home grown

Lovely to see someone sharing my love of close up picturea of flowers, am sure you'll manage to lose 1 kg by the end of October with a bit of will 💪

Lovely! Can’t believe thats a cucumber! How does it taste? You will do some sums and get that goal! You can do it!

Cheers - It tastes like a normal cucumber and I have some seeds for next year to try them again. Diet wise the sums are done and to theoretically lose a kilogram in October from now an average 550 calorie daily deficit will be required. Basically that means for the next 13 days I need to keep off the cake and keep to my running plan and also complete at least 20 mins daily gym.
