Recording my weight daily is becoming a chore now when I'm in that latent period of a diet and measurable weight progress is in weeks rather than days. Therefore going forward I will try and record just once a week. There is some evidence that I am building up some muscle such as my body fat readings going from 27.5% to 26.2% and my belt strap overhang increasing, but of course these measurements are less accurate and perhaps better described as NSV's. On the face of it these do feel a little less satisfactory, but are critically important steps, that may help me to understand my body better and perhaps help stop any lost weight returning.

Yesterday garden wise we picked aubergines celery and collected the last few chillis.

Decided to bite the bullet quickly so today I'm trying a 5K Parkrun at Tamar trails and am leaving shortly.
Update - Completed the run OK - Official time was 32 mins and 23 seconds.

I don’t weigh every day because those little fluctuations just depress me, so once a week first thing in the morning Don’t worry, u can do this

I agree with Kay, I found weighing every day depressing. When I first started this journey last year I even had a spell where I only weighed myself once a month. This year I've been weighing myself mostly once a week and that suits me fine. Less panic!

I think weighing every day can sometimes do more harm than good, once a week sounds good to me. Let us know what u make with ur garden goodies,, aubergine and chickpea curry perhaps? well done on your time for 5k 👏❤️
