Weight is slowly shifting nowadays with a reduced deficit and after over a week of being pretty static a healthy drop occurred overnight. On the HNS web site my BMI comes out as 25.3 the first time it's been in the 25's. It still suggests that I should "try to lose 4kg". They are almost certainly correct and I don't think I have a valid "I've got big bones argument"

After twelve days of Kettle bells I can see that my strength and technique has obviously improved and I have been able to increase the weight I use in a number of exercises already. I reckon that am quite cautious always complete a formal five minute warm up and I use a range of weights during each session and I am fairly sure that I am not over stretching myself. Being slightly geeky I have started a spreadsheet of KB weight exercises and dates so in the future I can see the actual progression.

Other news, good bits. The last few days we have treated to a wonderful sight of 100's of house martins and a few swallows on the electricity wires that cross our garden. On Sunday we are meeting up with our daughter in Exeter and my home gym is evolving and working well. Bad news, in addition to a poorly hob, oven and washing machine the expensive battery from my lawn mower is failing to charge and the lid of our recycling storage has just broken. August has been one of those months. The car also has a serious cooling snag and will overheat quickly in a traffic jam. So travelling to Exeter on a bank holiday weekend( something I only found out yesterday) is a major worry.
79.1 kg Lost so far: 25.9 kg.    Still to go: 9.1 kg.    Diet followed: 100%.

Glad to hear you are doing things gradually, logically and warming up properly. Don't forget to do a few stretches at the end. A good time to de-stress from lifes annoyances!

I’m originally from Exeter 🤣 and can confirm the traffic is totally f£&ked up. Bank holiday even worse. Sorry! Nightmare. But beautiful once you are there of course & parked up. Enjoy. Hope you get lucky with it ✌🏻
