A lazy day yesterday had a lovey little walk on Dartmoor with my wife up Brent Tor to the church of St Michael de rupe Pleased to say we have that we have had a little much needed rain overnight. Vegetables and little critters in the garden will be really happy It's still damp and not much doing at home so I have just got back from a 12.9 mile walk around Roadford lake. Our blueberry crop is very good this year and so Claire is cooking some muffins I will be having some. Because I'm worth it. Be good

Thanks guys for the nice comments It's the highest working Church in England and in the winter when the trees are bare of leaves we can see it from the kitchen window. Legend says that the church was built by a wealthy merchant, whose ship was caught in a storm off the Devon coast and who, in the midst of the tempest, cried out to his patron St Michael, that if he were saved, he would build a church upon the first land he sighted. Can't find any black magic about it to help me lose weight though. There are some great images online of the church.

Yes that is close OKE is a great place - A few years ago used to be even closer when we rented for a while at Northwood farm barn - On the back way to Folly Gate
