Try low carb before Keto, because on Keto getting a balanced diet is harder.
If you love Salads and avocado (healthy fats), Keto can be great, but you do have a very limited fruit selection and starchy veg are out, with other root veg limited in portion size.
It works for me as I am gluten intolerant anyway, plus have a carb addiction, 1 slice of toast was never enough, the loaf (small as it's gluten free) would be gone in 2 days, but I do miss my fruit portions from before.
But 0.5kg is a healthy sustainable loss, we always lose more initally. so don't get disheartened, whatever you are doing is working for you.🙂
