Day 8.

UUUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I am logging.

I am eating too much.

Drop me on an deserted island with no animals that can kill me for 30 days and I think I would be able to turn this around.

I have not seen these high numbers in years.

UUUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Not quitting.

I need to plan out averaging 1800 calories a day next week. I think this is doable.

I am seated almost 11 - 13 hours a day between work and commute

I can't quit. I can't quit. I can't quit.

Ches, not quitting is key. Sitting for work and commute is rough, but like you said, you can do this. Look up foods that you like that also are low in calories and fill you up. It will take some refiguring, but you can do it! 👍

Food is filling a need that is not just hunger - so comforting or so sensual or so exciting...but only for such a short time unless you eat way too much. Search yourself for what else comforts, excites or otherwise feels good that is not food. Good luck - I'm still looking

@SharonEsq, words of wisdom. Sometimes it feels like I'm trying to solve a puzzle, but have to find the missing pieces first. ❤

Don't quit, renew. change something that feels meaningful. for me it was skipping breakfast and doubling down on calorie limits. yours may be different. whatever it is, try starting it today. one step forward....

Thanks ccandco, SharonEsq, Siegels and Sarah1950. After this journal entry, I snuck out as no one is reaching out to me maybe because it is a Friday, and I put in a quick 3721 steps in 35 min, not a fast pace, but I am at work and don't want to be sweaty for the next 4.5 hours. I think I am going to give up Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. I could user that hour to workout and meal prep/plan for the next day.

IF plus some recipes for making low calorie high protein meals. That's the only way I could ever eat that low.

I'm in a similar boat with my job. Good job with the walk. Ever thought of a standing desk ($$) or an exercise ball to sit on? I've heard that they could help with the core.
