lovvella's Journal, 07 Mar 21

I have weighed myself and I've met my goal! It's been 9 weeks in total and I've lost just over a stone. I started using this app in week 2 and couldn't have done it without it. Of all the diets it's the first time I've done the calorie deficit and it works. I've lost my 2020 weight gain and more. I haven't seen this weight in years. Now looking at my body especially at my age and after kids I can see I need to lose a little more to help with the tummy, but I've actually got to start toning now. Other than a few Joe wicks sessions with the kids which was short lived, I did a few walks and am only a bit active but no serious exercise and the calorie deficit still works. So now I do need to introduce the toning. Hopefully I'll get the exercise part covered walking the kids to school next week! I'll keep going with this app to drop maybe 1 or 2 more pounds but otherwise try and maintain the weight. Good luck everyone xx

Thanks guys! Based on my personal stats my activity was so up and down so aimed for a 1400 calorie level based on lowest activity. I had a breakfast, which I never did before. I pre-prepared dinner and my pudding has been 150g plain Skyr with frozen fruit. I found it helpful to weigh myself every Sunday morning to see how the week went. During period time the weight stayed the same. No alcohol since Xmas and any week I didn't drop weight, I could see what I did differently the last week and eat more calories or less based on my activity. Its definitely trial and error to learn how your body reacts each week. A big carrot stick was a nice crunchy snack. But just take each week as it comes and read your body, good luck xx

This is fabulous. Well done. I train a KICK 4 minute round workout which is so good as it’s 4 minutes - 3 mins of exercise then 1 min rest and stretch then repeat how many rounds you have time for I can give you details. Sophs

Congratulations on reaching your goal. Thought it was interesting that you got a winning formula, then batch cooked and repeated it. Lesson for me would be to drop my crisps and chocolate, and do what you do i.e. 150g yoghurt and 100g fruit for snacks. So far, I've not done well because I've wanted to keep my snacks.
