Grateful for this scale reading this morning. I've not done too badly sticking to my calorie aim for the start of the week, but didn't have time for cardio workouts this week so only did dumbbell workouts to a total of 135 minutes. Waist measurement went down nicely by 2cm since I last measured and that's great. Still about 4cm above where I previously was, and would like to be again, though. Working on it.

Water intake has been good and I've had a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar in a glass of H2O every morning and now with a small pinch of sea salt in it as well. Not sure what the science is, but heard about it in a video and thought trying it couldn't hurt as I was already doing the ACV. Also been taking an intestinal flora capsule every day this week. Will take them on week days. Been a bit sluggish in that department last week, but my fibre intake is usually ok so I just bought a box of 30 to see how it goes.

Not sure if I'll track all weekend as some of it will be guestimates and I'm just not in the mood for that. It's annoying though because I feel like I would have made it this week and wanted to see the outcome, but now I just won't really know if I've gone way over until my next weigh-in. But, I'll track again from Monday morning and see if I can do a full week next week. Social occasions really do bugger things up for tracking calories, but I know it will be much needed for my overall well-being.

Hopefully next week won't be so busy with work and I'll be able to aim for that 180 minute total exercise again.

It's the first time in months we're having three family members over for a socially distanced braai tomorrow. Really looking forward to catching up. Then, as Sunday is meant to be a hot day my sister and I are heading to the beach for a swim bright and early. Hope I'm brave enough to take the plunge.
