dancingqueenclare's Journal, 30 Dec 20

Worst weigh in of my entire life, never ever considered this weight was possible for me, time to come off the meds, move more even if it hurts, ignore the cravings, stop feeling disgusted & do something about it. Food does not take away the physical pain, or crappy health, it just makes you cope for a few minutes, then not cope, can’t win, time to admit I have a food addiction 😭😭😭😭😭😭

Relax, a good part of it is probably water weight due to all that salt and sugar.

New year. See it as a fresh start. Just make a small change, nail it. Then move onto the next one.

I have heard a few FS friends speaking on here about food addiction, one of them gives up smoking and one gives up drink and drugs (medicinal) but the, problem is we have to eat!!!! (As Lasagne has said the other day) it's so hard to get it right, but I am sure you have the right support with this group, take care and make next year YOUR year. We are all right beside you x

Give yourself a break, the good thing is your back. I know what your talking about, I got weight loss surgery and after a few years I had put all the weight I'd lost back on. The good thing is that we're doing something about it

I totally relate. I too am the heaviest I've ever been, health, meds, mental health, it's a horrible viscous cycle to be in but you're in the right place. This place is full of amazing people, support, advice and virtual hugs 🤗❤️ For me personally, I had to take care of my mental health first before anything else, then went from 18 tablets a day to 1 a day during the first lockdown. You can do this, stay strong x
