It seems the wrong time to start dieting just before Christmas and in the middle of a pandemic 😷. I don’t feel mentally strong but I know for my own health, I need to do this. So tomorrow the 14th December, 2020 I will attempt to log everything I eat/drink.

That’s the correct attitude my birthday is 26 June started my diet on 18 June had beer and went out for meal but managed to end the week even it’s all about control and amount you eat

I think it's the best time!
You'll get a baseline of what you can do, and try to keep it going during the holidays.
If you don't, the damage will be huge.

The important thing is to be aware. Don’t beat yourself up for going over targets. Soon you’ll get a feeling for the meals you enjoy that have lower calorie counts and start concentrating on those. Good luck!
