This goes down as a gain but I have actually been losing for the past couple of days from an up-day that I did not record. I know that oliversgoldfish is not being strict about weigh-in timing for the 1 lb for Christmas challenge, but because it is weigh-in day I want to record my progress (or lack thereof) to motivate myself. I just realized that I am reporting a LITTLE loss for this week overall, but it would be more impressive if I was at a new low. In any case, I have been paying a lot more attention to what I eat and eating healthier as a result. I have also upped the exercise. Last night I recalculated my BMR. Last time I calculated it was at 203 lbs, so, as expected, my calculations show that I need to eat less than I did then. That is why weight loss has not come so easily to me as it was for a while. It's time to refocus and see if I can eat less. Back to protein and veggies. And exercise. My exercise buddy and I won't be able to coordinate again until next Tuesday, but I am confident I'll be motivated to get exercise in without her.
72.5 kg Lost so far: 21.4 kg.    Still to go: 13.5 kg.    Diet followed: Reasonably Well.

That's not a gain, its a maintain. You are doing fine. Getting back to the basics is always a good thing. Put those ear buds in and get hopping in those new shoes!
