The scale shows yet another small gain. Yesterday was my sister's birthday party, and there were too many sugary temptations. I should have asked ahead about what was going to be at the table and prepared myself, but I guess its been a while since I've been to my mom's house, so I forgot that this can sometimes be a big trouble spot for me. It hasn't been in a while, but yesterday was not good. I am disappointed that I keep writing things like this lately when I know I was doing s much better earlier in the year. I don't think I ate enough yesterday, and I ended up losing sleep, probably partially for that reason, but in spite of the low calories, there was too much sugar. The problem is that I'm not entirely sure. I am going to start writing down what I eat again, something I hadn't needed to do for a while. At the moment I am going to write down just general amounts. As in, I just had 1 full bowl of multi-grain squares and 1 small glass of soymilk. Later I may graduate to measuring again, but baby steps for now. My buddy is working a 10 1/2 day today, so I won't see her for exercise until tomorrow. Maybe today Chuck and I can get out and play some basketball. Or if I can manage to wake up, there might still be time for a walk before work. Have a great day, buddies!

1/2 hour walk
1 bowl cascadian squares
1 glass soymilk
1 piece cheese pizza (oops!)
a couple servings grapes
a generous bunch of baby carrots and green pepper slices
a handful organic shredded cheese
