John10251's Journal, 15 Dec 18

Yesterday was an unusually good nutrition day. I ate my last meal early, I ate under goal, met my protein goal. I also met all activity goals. BF down .6%

I have learned so much since I joined this site and witnessed so many success stories from other members here. I enjoy and find the discussions here informative. I admit that I don't agree with everyone's methods but I have learned what works well for me from many member's experiences good and bad. I get a lot of satisfaction from logging and tracking my nutritional intake and activity. Since I joined FS, I have never seen logging a burden. I enjoy being proactive when it comes to my health and fitness. I don't know why anyone who has made progress while logging and tracking would stop trying, especially during maintenance. I urge everyone to continue to log the good, bad, ugly and tasty during the holiday season. Ten more day until Christmas!!!

I agree with you, logging your food is soo important, no matter how bad is my day I will log my food, sometimes I will have to guess the calories but I will log them.

Good for you!! I"m on maint. and have been for several years. I find I only track some of the time now as it takes lots of time putting in recipes. It keeps me focused on staying on track. Even maintenance takes work everyday for life.

Ditto, ditto, ditto!! Everyone is a bit different, what works great for one may not even be possible for another...for me logging is a daily habit, just like brushing my teeth, someday maybe I'll stop, but for now the ongoing benefits far outweighs the bother. Maintaining is never a given... hopefully easier most of the time compared to weight (fat) loss, howver I'll bet everyone above, myself included have times when it is very hard.
