OK so last week I had a blood test because my blood pressure is raised and today I got the results. My cholesterol levels are high and recommendations for me to see a health worker to advise on my diet. So I do lots of research on lowering cholesterol and healthy eating and I come across Fatsecret so I decided to give it a try. I have lost 7lbs this week before starting with Fatsecret just by getting back to work and eating a bit less and drinking less alcohol. Historically I have gone on diets many times before and usually loose weight fast in the first month then seem to stop and gradually put it all back on. I did once a few years ago lose about 28lbs over a year. This time with the help of this app on my phone I am hoping to get close to 140 lbs in around a year from now making it an over 4 stones weight loss and the lightest I have been in about 30 years. That would be great but its going to be tough. This Fatsecret app on my phone seems to be really good. It not only counts calories for me but sets targets for a good healthy diet for me personally. I am very optimistic about it so here we go let's see how it goes. I am going to weigh in once per week hopefully on Mondays.
