wholefoodnut's Journal, 15 May 17

A pretty good last week though the weight remains the same, I would like to get back down to 128 and get rid of the flabby mid section. Need to work on abs since they are core muscles good for the whole body and definitely for the back.

Lots of steps this past week but only a bit of strength as time kept running out. A workout after 6pm tends to keep me awake later and often life gets in the way.

The chicken coop and run plans are getting closer to putting them on graph paper. I want to get a materials list put together so I can gradually collect what I need, hopefully much re-store (habitat for humanity store) or other recycle sources. I keep thinking how nice organic fresh eggs would be. Besides I really liked a few of the layers I had years ago they were so funny.

So cool to hear about the chicken coop plans. My neighbor is wanting to do that, too. I can help her, maybe, and help her with it. I would but .... dogs and hubby are against it. LOL!

Glen, intrigued might be an understatement. LOL! It's bad enough the cats taunt them through the fence ... big fat noisy chickens might drive them nuts. :)

LOL on driving the dogs nuts, mine were raised with parrot so they generally ignore birds. They are wary of my bity parrot because he has bitten them on the nose. Glen, I love the wall art idea, she does need to check out the city laws. I bet I could convince GS Colton paint something on mine, he is quite the artist. That would be so cool. Sandy why are they against it because of the dogs? It also does take some $$ initially for the coop, run and supplies and then feed and bedding along the way. It's funny my daughters are against it also as we had a bad experience with them years ago in the country, they forget that some of the layers were really nifty critters. Help you neighbor and hopefully she will share some eggs.

Your goal weight is still showing 135 instead of 128 (or would you want to lower it to 125?). Gives you a chance to check out FS's changes to your home page.

The new neighbor hasn't moved in yet, but I feel like we can come up together with some ideas for her chicken coop. I feel like this won't happen this year .. but we'll see. My hubby doesn't like birds ... period. He is afraid of them. :o) As a toddler he had thick wiry curls and a parakeet landed on his head. It's claws got tangled up in his hair and it wound up pecking him and flapping its wings while still attached to his hair. It was quite traumatic for the little guy ... and to this very day he won't let me have a parakeet or any type of bird as a pet. So ... no chickens for us. He also says our dogs would kill them if they got a hold of one. It's quite possible. They love chasing birds now.
