Motivated, not frustrated. The scale is not budging because of my weekend fun. Time to open up a can of whip a$$ on it. I am strong, I am confident. I don't need no stinking emergency loaded cheeseburger washed down with an icy coke right now. I need to get my "Lost 40 pounds, check out my new profile picture" journal entry done this week. I am almost there. It will happen. Pie hole is shut. Belt tightened. Getting it done!

Climbed MT Tom again on Sunday with my youngest boy, he's 14 entering HS this fall. I improved on both the up and down times from last week, my 1st time up that mountain. Scratch that, I CRUSHED my down time. Last week, my max speed down was 8.5 mph, this time, 20.5 mph. Can you smell what the Rock is cooking????

I am a little pumped, can't you tell? Hope I don't allow distractions to interfere with my planned mileage tonight when I get home.

OMG -- You go, Ches! You are hilarious! I could lose so much more weight if I could get past my weekends w/o gaining and then having to lose that and more.

My 67 year old mom wants to do the mountain with me this weekend. I guess I wont go for a personal best. This will be interesting. If I can get one of the boys to do it with us we will have to rename the mountain to Mt. 3 generations afterwards.

As usual, love your posts. I have been tinkering with these last 10-15 pounds up and down and up and down and this morning I decided to just get it done! AND keep it off!

This was an awesome day. 11.5 miles of which the last 3 was done when I got home, changed into workout clothes and did it in 36 minutes. This activity was completed with only 42 calories consumed. Had a nice dinner and closing feeding hole for the day. If that scale doesn't move tomorrow, it will feel the wrath of Ches. Make it count friends, make it count!
