Penlan's Journal, 01 Jan 16

Well, that was a day and a half of eating more than usual! I'm going with the flow, see what happens. i didn't need my belt today and my trousers didn't even think about falling down as I walked. Heck, I even needed to undo the button to take them down!

I finally have my kitchen back, after four years or being without, so I guess it's just the novelty of being able to wander in and easily prepare food :D

I know I am enjoying cooking for the boys and plan a feast tomorrow of roast pork leg from Llanerchaeron, I can't remember the breed, but an old Welsh rare breed. Roasted potatoes, parsnips, sweet potato, with buttered carrots and baked onion, cabbage, mushrooms.... Beetroot soup for starters. Apple crumble with apples from our trees, and a proper pouring egg custard to follow. I will enjoy cooking it, they will enjoy eating it. I'll have my usual lunch and share some of the pork with them in the evening.

Nappy New Year. Happy all round.
Welcome 2016 :D Bring it on!!
