fed up with myself as soon as i go down i go bk up. damn weekends and water retention

I'm exactly the same . . I'm sooo good all week then the weekend comes and I self destruct! . . I'm now trying to just make better choices at the weekend instead of punishing myself which I think just makes me fall off the wagon worse!

yeah ive been considering ready meal versions of food craving as portioned and know cals where as chinese etc can lie to myself on cals. ive found some local exercise classes on sunday as well. i used to do 4 mile walk on sunday but cold and find rather be home under quilt with take away :( me and monday arent getting on with the guilt from weekend lol

Try weighing yourself only once a week or fortnight, this can help smooth out the peaks and troughs over time. If you know you have problems at weekends maybe weigh yourself on a Friday so your current weight is fresh in your mind - this might help with motivating you over the weekend??? In the past I have found having fewer carbs in the evening, with meat/protein based meal instead helps. Good luck

thanks yeah will try that. i was weighing monday to see if helped but doesn't. friday sounds alot better thanks. i think i need to reduce carbs over day to see if it helps. i love toast/crumpets/wraps etc but may have omelette or cereals and things like that
