2023 Year End Evaluation:🏁✅

January start weight: 132.8 lbs./60.2kg, BMI: 22.1%
December end weight: 118.4 lbs./53.7kg, BMI: 19.7%
Goal weight: 115.0 lbs./52.1kg, BMI: 19.1%

And so we grade! Weight loss I'm giving myself an A- because I didn't make goal, but I did end the year with a decent dent, and only have 3.4 pounds to go. Last year I gained(!) weight, and I gave myself an F, so 2023 was more productive and focused. I'm strong from all the strength training and daily cardio, my blood work is great and I don't require meds or even vitamins. I fit back into 95% of my thin clothes, which was the main goal of losing all that fat.

Success this year was from sticking to my WFPB diet and doing regular cardio that I truly enjoy (dancing, swimming, hiking/walking, Pilates and yoga).

Thank you, All💚. Starting my new job on Tuesday and am grateful to have both mental and physical health to focus on learning. Also grateful that this year ended so much better than last year with that 7 lb. gain I had. @OTB: when's your next race & Mudder? Have you biked any lately?

I have 4 Spartans and 2 tough mudders booked as well as the air b and b to do the vermont race again. The firat race is end of April and the kids are both registered for that one already as well I am beyond excited and have been formulating my plan of attack for this year I'll post it here soon. I want to do some other races as well. I haven't gone on the bike at all but I plan to start dping some indoor bike trainer rides starting tomorrow to work on my zone 2 build up. I Gave my knee 3 full months off now from any running biking or extra waking my main goal for this year is to try and stay injury free !

@Morticia: roasted cabbage, beans (any kind) are my secret tools! @Otb: sounds like your cardio will be amping up! Tomorrow I'm doing line dancing. Nowhere near as dangerous as your stuff!

Thank you guys! @Storms — I’m looking forward to tonight’s line dancing (cardio). When people equate cardio with machines in their gym it drives me batty. There are so many fun ways to raise & sustain our heart rates.💃⛷️🛷🥊🛼🛹⛸️⛹️‍♂️🏇🤾🏄‍♂️🚣‍♀️🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️

@JB…Line dancing sounds so fun! I love to dance! 💃 I also love swimming, hiking, and mostly just taking my local walks! I grew up ice skating ⛸️ in Iowa! I enjoy Racquetball but find it difficult to find anyone who wants to play! My youngest daughter moved back to AR recently so I may ask her! Our family danced and did karaoke 🎤 on New Year’s Eve! I could see people using machines to do cardio, especially in the winter because many don’t like the cold. I do though! I’m ready for snow in AR! ❄️
