I find if you get out early it can be quite calm, wind picks up later on

Ah, it’s beautiful- we love travelling to Scotland- the peace is good for the soul- but many places , like Etive (post sky fall) and the north coast , post “nc500” are not the havens of peace or tranquility they were 20 or 25 years ago
