diet and exercise tip. Move all your food to a refrigerator in the basement. You have to run up and down the stairs to bring it to the kitchen, then back down to put things away. Makes you think do I really want to go down the stairs again!!?? 8 trips just to get my lunch ready to take this am and my morning smoothie! jeesh!!!

I think I'll move the pantry downstairs. That holds more evil for me then the fridge.

The space behind and next to my frig is getting done first!!! Kathy, my pantry is spread all over 2 bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen that's a treasure hunt!! Ann, work is just busy, it's that time of year, that's why I take a sanity break in March. Wanted to be home working in my kitchen or outside, it was a beautiful day, today it's supposed to be about 75 tomorrow 80.

Dang, we don't have a basement, but I have a spare fridge in the garage. May move my lunch things out there. That's hubby's "beer" fridge. LOL.

LOL - there is your exercise for the day!

Jeri, that is one of the reasons you walk more than 5000 steps a day. Until I joined FatSecret I thought walking more than 10,000 steps a day was not humanly possible. Now I see you and other people are doing it. So proud of all of you!

Deb, this is NOT normal, my main frig is not usually in the basement!! BIG BIG Smiles!! It's driving me nuts having my kitchen scattered everywhere!!! I just don't sit much except at work, I'm "chained to my desk".. I normally want to get up and do something. I was SO excited when we received our wireless headsets so we could move.. Didn't last long. We are not allowed to move around while on calls because other incoming callers can hear us. Not good. So we are still stuck sitting. I know others employees feel the same.

When we re-did our kitchen in our old house, I remember washing my coffee mug in the bathroom sink and making lunches in the bedroom. Craziness! Try to stay sane. :)

Good thing our kitchen is on the first floor while our living room in the third.

WOW! that would be lots of stairs to climb all the time!!

I do something similar except it's my van in the parking lot which I inevitably need a million things from. I hate stairs. I've never lived in a house with stairs. I did live in a third floor walk-up once. I repressed most of that year. Ooo wait that was the year I got down to a six. Yep hate stairs still anyway.

I take the stairs whenever I can. I have a desk job and I try to make an excuses to move as much as possible. Stairs are great for toning up them legs!
