wholefoodnut's Journal, 08 Feb 15

Saturday was warm and sunny but strong gusty winds. Coon trapper was here set traps, no coons trapped yet, still no estimate another man does that. Not much exercise except from scraping the remaining wallpaper border in the kitchen, the fruit border in my avatar is no longer except for a small peeling section that will be gone this am. YAY!!

Still have this rubbery adhesive need get off. Tried the heat gun, that would take me weeks, though it does bubble it and I could pull it off.
Was going to try something else after a walk around the neighborhood. Next door neighbor stopped in, had a cup of tea with her, she stayed until 5:00 more than 2 hours. Another neighbor had stopped in earlier in the day for about an hour. No walk, maybe today.

Going to lunch today with the neighbor to a friend of her's restaurant that is struggling. Neighbor has owned several very successful restaurants and is trying to help her friend fix the problems. She knows I've also spent many years in the business, so wants my input. I know they make they make their own what is called a pork tenderloin. (it's not really a tenderloin) Here they are boneless pork tenderized & pounded thin, breaded and deep fried. I haven't had one since I began this journey. Will splurge. Now if they have fried pickles or green tomatoes I'll be in trouble.... It's Missouri local café type food.

I am sorry you are still have coon issue's. They are such smart varmints! I hope this issue is resolved swiftly. Isn't great to have friend's and good neighbor's around. I like our new neighbor as he is good for my hubby to have man to man talk's with. And it was very nice of you to critique your friend's (friend)restaurant food and menu before Valentine's day, as perhaps this will give them the much needed push for a tastier menu and some get some regular's in. I love fried pickles. I am not very fond of fried green tomatoes, perhaps I have never had a good one, yet. Pickled green tomatoes though that's a different story, I could eat them and eat them. Also olives are my splurge food. Wallpaper workout's aren't fun I imagine, however; I bet it's great for strength and agility. And burns at least 100 cal's an hour. I hope you enjoyed the rest of your weekend, my friend. And I look forward to your update's. Truly, Jen

Don't remember the fit wallpaper, maybe I should watch it again, grins. Been watching the snow... keeps reminding me of 1977/1978 in Binghamton NY snowed everyday from before thanksgiving until march except for one day it rained.

Fit wallpaper? That's not what it said when I hit submit. Should be fruit.
