I'm off on non diet tangents here but part of my journey is to get me healthy in mind, body, and spirit. I feel it's all part of the same journey. It still surprises me after 2 years. Feeling good about my house is part of my journey.
It has been a productive day off, though not good on food or exercise. Not concerned today. Hanging in there not going overboard.
A few needed chores done, not all. Christmas shopping is totally done. Just need some wrapping paper, and try to figure out how to deal with the 100+ plus pound box of weights in the back of my car. Way ahead of last years' rush to get done. Even ordered items have arrived. Love it!!
Have put 2 of the 4 Ikea shelves together, really liking them even though my partial kitchen re-do is far from getting finished. The drawer inserts are still in the boxes. The other 2 are going to my spare room. I picked up paint samples and I think have chosen colors for my spare room, kitchen, and living room. So am working on making my little 50's track house have a wow punch and being super practical and comfy. Funny, the colors I used to have picked out were pastel, now they are bold.
Was hoping I would have it done for this Christmas, maybe next year.
