This morning I did:
Penny Barnshaw - Garage Fitness Girl - METABOLIC SUPERSETS | Strength & Cardio Workout (Dumbbells Only)

This workout was really great with its compound moves and short bursts of cardio as well. It is thanks to another FS legend, Sassy_Sabby (who's also now sadly gone private) that I know about Penny. Usually her workouts involve a bit too much jumping around for me, but today I just modified the burpees slightly and did them at a bit slower pace too - all good! The highlight of the workout was her little pup walking in and sitting down to watch us sweating (joke) - just adorable!!!

Anyhoo, this week so far I've not been very good with calories. I put everything into my tracker before the day, but then when I'm dishing up breakfast, for instance, I end up chucking in almost twice as much granola as I'd allocated - and that's impossible to fish out again. Also have served myself a larger portion of dinner than originally intended and telling myself that 'I'm hungry' and 'I need it'. Am I really, and, do I really? The answer to both is no - I'm just being shoddy at sticking to what I'd planned to have. But, now that I'm aware of it I will do better!

Think it will have to be a rest day tomorrow, but I did over 9,000 steps on Monday and over 11,000 steps yesterday so maybe I can aim for the same tomorrow. Might be going for a canal-side walk with a Meetup group on Saturday depending on the weather so that would be great too! Did one yesterday at our local park and it was blustery, but the sun actually came out for a bit as well and had some good conversation with a few folks. Wasn't really feeling up to it before we left (sometimes I just feel like keeping myself to myself), but I'm glad we went.
