This morning I did:

HASfit - Full Body Workout with Dumbbells - 45 Min Total Body Strength Workout with Weights at Home Training

I'm sure I've done this one before probably ages ago. A really great workout and I appreciate that it includes a warm-up and a really good stretch at the end, but that essentially made it just a 35 minute workout to me. All good though. Some of the other workouts I'm eying for the week are 50 minutes long so it should average out. Will hopefully go for a decent walk later today as there is clear sky showing for a change.

This morning the scale said 69.3kg. Daily average calories came to 2000 last week - compared to the 2140 the previous week (rounded up or down). Maybe I should aim for 1860 this week then (but really I will be trying for 1800 again). Will try to keep up my 180 minutes total of strength workouts and will see how the walking goes this week. Last week I only walked 2 days out of the 7 so that's not great at all. This week we have two social walks - a short one on Wednesday and a nice longer one along a canal on Saturday. I'm hoping they won't be cancelled by bad weather.

Anyhoo, have a great week all! Winter is nearly here. It will be a challenge all on it's own, but whatever your goal may be - we can do it!

Well done Nikina!! I take my hat off to you for keeping up with all the physical stuff...I am as lazy as a SLOTH to do exercise etc. I walk a lot - but that's it!! I DO HOWEVER, realize that someone in the not too distant future I am going to HAVE to incorporate some kind of exercise routine into my lifestyle choices.... In the meantime I will keep watching you for motivation & tips. Happy Tuesday ♥

Aah, thank so much for your kind words, Anne! It's great that you like to walk though! I believe that walking is one of the best exercises to do - and it's totally free - and allows you to explore the world - what could be better? Also, most of the people in my life who lived to a ripe old age walked just about every day - so other exercise might not really be necessary. I just like the feeling that if I need to lift something heavy I can do it these days. Hope you find something you enjoy doing too when you're ready. Happy Tuesday to you too! xxx

oh yes, so good for your bone health ....... nutrition is now my priority- specially now I have osteoporosis diagnosis as well as gum disease. I discover that women should be tested for bone density around 2 Years after menopause.... and get checked every few years so that as bone is lost action can be taken before its serious. I am over 65 and never had a scan for BD, and only had one recently as part of a medical check up. I would never have known... I am active, well and feel good so it was a bombshell discovery- this is an excellent organisation https://www.bonetalk.org/podcast-episodes
