Finally a good night's sleep, no otc drugs. It's a beautiful sunny morning with a breeze blowing. A good day to enjoy outside. My plans for today fell through so only a quick haircut on the agenda, overdue thanks to the rashes. It's a weed the garden day, get in some cardio, work on painting and cleaning up the smoker I bought last week, fill the hummer feeders. Rain tomorrow, so weekend household chores can wait till then.

Tomorrow with rain predicted it's back to the gym, then gym schedule next week will depend on ball schedules, not set yet with all the rainouts. Goal is 3 days for workouts, walking in am daily increasing that to 30minutes, additional cardio on days I'm not sitting watching kids play ball. 3 weeks left in ball season.

Something I've noticed lately is that I'm feeling happier with myself and my life than I have in a long time. It's like so much stress I was creating for myself has dropped away, weird comment. I realized most things that were creating stress in my life were self inflicted. I needed to find ways to stop creating my own stress, I'm getting there. It's a nice feeling. Funny all this started with a weight loss get fit journey!!!

Thanks Sherrie, sort of a slow start to my sat. Sitting here drinking my coffee and reflecting on the past few months, should be up and moving on this beautiful morning.

It's afternoon, just a few things accomplished. Haircut, good for how I feel about me. A bit of clutter on my catch all dining room table taken care of, will make me feel better all weekend as I hate clutter. Checked on my 87 yo neighbor, she is doing ok today, will take her a meal or a loaf of bread before the weekend is over. That will make me happy. Hummer feeders are full, love to sit and watch them after a hectic day. My front yard lilies are blooming and they love those so they go between the flowers and the feeders. Now to work on my smoker.

i keep thinking you have a partner who smokes when you say you are going to work on your smoker. like you are trying to get them to quit. :)

Where abouts do you live? I'm jealous of all that nice weather! i know I am happier when I take control of my health and don't binge eat.

Independence, mo right outside of Kansas City. We have had lots of rainy days, good for breaking the drought, but not great for the psych.

Sounds great, I miss the occasional rain showers. The monsoons will soon be here but sometimes (most times) no rain just a horizontal lightening show and more times a dust storm. Too much rain can be so mood changing though. Enjoy your weekend!

Nope LOL, no smoker person, just me and never smoked. actually, that would actually kill me with my asthma. Smoker is for food, I live in major BBQ country. I bought a heavy duty wood/charcoal smoker at an estate sale up the street last weekend, that is very usable but to look amazing needs some tlc. i'm forever creating more work and projects for myself :)) it's taking me all day just to get the old paint, grease and rust off. that's ok. I will love it when it's done. run to the grocery store in a bit, they have chicken thighs this week $.99. Sounds good on my gas grill for dinner marinated with fresh herbs, with some baked beets, and salad with fresh greens from my yard. Part of my stress level was that I stressing over not getting projects completed. Realized that didn't make sense to do, no time frame, no one but myself putting deadlines on. It makes no sense to stress over arbitrary internal deadlines.

Really, monsoons? Where do you live? We have had lots of rain lately so enjoying a rain free day, the clouds are building west of me and rain predicted for tonight and tomorrow. Once July hits it will probably be hot humid and little to no rain.
