Day 18 - After a five day plateau I have just weighed in at 89.9 and finally get to record more than a 5 Kg total loss. The next mini milestones for me are very close : 88.9 Kg (Weight = thirteen stone something), 88.65 Kg (lost a stone 14 lbs) and 88 Kg (7Kg drop). My target is get to pass all of these all by day 30. I think that's a much harder target than it sounds.
So far my average daily 935 calorie deficit has lead to a weight loss of around 1 kg per 3500 calories - That is twice as much a loss as the theoretical 7000cals per kg. I'm no expert but guessing that water loss accounts for much of the difference and I suspect cannot rely on that any longer. Using this 7000cals/Kg figure then to reach my goal of 88Kg means that I should need to record a total deficit of 13300 calories. Over eleven days that equals a daily deficit of 1200 calories.
That deficit is 250 calories is more than I am currently managing and I definitely don't want overdo my couch to 5K plan so I have just agreed with my wife to try and restart a daily online fitness class that we have lapsed on. That should help me get to the deficit numbers needed.
