Random question ....what oil do you use to cook with ?? I love using olive oil but 119cal per tablespoon! 😱

I use butter usually. 36cals for 5g and is plenty enough with a non-stick pan :) I looooove olive oil! Its been one of the most difficult parts!

I haven’t been using olive oil in that form . When I noticed the amount of calories on it I was shocked 😳 I use those sprays frylight extra virgin olive oil or recently I bought a reusable cooking sheet which you can put in pan , oven tray, etc. I make fried eggs on time.. no fat added and they look way better than when I fry them with fat 🤣

I use the spray. I also dry fry too.

Thank you everyone.! I will try the sheets . I have used the fry light spray in the past but I found it a little ‘ gloopy ‘ . I love olive oil but the calories were a shocker !

only use the fry light sprays. kind of weird using them at first but you get used to it quickly and now can't do without them!

19J you get used to it. I also was a massive olive oil user but you learn to live almost without it. Well sayjng this you need those fats but for me I am trying to go as low fat as possible until I reach my goal. Another way is portion control. If want some olive oil in my salad I make sure I don’t do more than a tablespoon. 👌

I use and cook with olive oil...I allow in my cals....I know there are lighter alternatives but my nonno(grandad) is 90 and could still chase me around the dinner table...he's lived his whole life on it and now its part of mine! lol!

Selinaforeverunity I bought some fry light today but I will still use olive oil in the majority of my cooking as I think the health benefits outweigh the calories ! Yes, Lixio I love coconut oil too & avocado oil ....I just didn’t realise how many calories were in them all ....I will try not to be so heavy handed with them in the future!!

I have started cutting the amount I use especially with how good the non- stick pans are now. I have tried fry light.. not sure about the taste..so thinking if I roast or grill I can avoid frying altogether????

Selina or you can get a cooking sheet. I have been doing most of my cooking with it. Even salmon yesterday , no fats and it had a nice colour
