well I've given myself a day off today and boy do I see the calorie difference.i had a meal deal and kfc chicken with home made salad and a cookie and I've gone over 700cals on my daily limit. And to be truthful I don't feel good after eating it, I feel stodgy and greasy and out right sluggish. I don't think im going to give myself a day off again, its not worth it.

What I’ve found has really helped is not thinking in terms of days off, but that everything is part of the same plan, which is a long-term healthy eating plan. So if I wanted a KFC I’d have it but I’d counter the extra calories by going lower the next day. I know what you mean about the food not making you feel good though. It can be delicious and an absolute pleasure to scoff but then after your body knows that it needs better. Plan something light and full if vitamins for the next meal? Well done on your progress so far.

You can have a big KFC meal and just eat less calories and just have a small breakfast and lunch. It's probably less satisfying than having three proper meals though. The only thing I struggle with is alcohol as you still need to eat for the day so it's just going on top of that. The easiest way to tackle that is just not drinking 🤣

I never normally restrict myself nor deny myself food. I eat what I want really as long as I stay in my calories. But yesterday I thought f it and my other half doesn't seem to help as he incouraged it 😂 but I'm never doing it again ive learnt my lesson as I've now got food poisoning so definitely no more kfc for me.
