How many calories do you eat on a fast day and how many times a week do you do this? It’s something I have been considering.

I eat 800 calories on a fast day and I do it Mondays and Wednesdays, so a 5:2 pattern. I find it psychologically really helpful as if you can do that you bank lots of calories for the week, and also it focuses you regularly on thinking about calories and macros without having to do it all the time. 800 cals is very doable without feeling hungry. Back in September I did 2 straight weeks on 800cals just to kick the diet off.
