the correct one

If it were me, I would go with the heavier weight - that heads off disappointment down the line. Something else: I've found that if you move your scales to different places on the floor it can affect the reading (my tiles are rough-surfaced so that may stop the scales being level), so if you can settle the scales and try not to move the device, that is also worthwhile.

thanks for your help. I'll go for the new scale's reading. keeping in mind that it's heavier than the original one. at least when I reach my goal I will have lost a bit more 🙂

Can you calibrate your new scales with something? Then you will know exactly where you are.

I would say your new scales are right. Are they the heavier ones? My old scales were 2kg lighter than real life.

The new scales are actually much lighter than the old ones. Think I'll add the 2.4kg to my initial weight and keep using my new scales. Who knew new scales would cause me a headache!!!lol

Just start again with new scales. And make sure they are set properly. I have old scales and new ones I find the old ones better there are 2lbs different between them and the new ones some how change to different weights eg stone to pounds etc so use the old ones good luck. Merrymel

@merrymel I ended up adding the 2.4kg difference to my initial weight and the other weigh ins so I can use my new scales. Easier that way, think I would I felt defeated if I just put in the new scales weight!lol
