Hi welcome! Starting off I needed to test my calories by lowering each week until I found a happy place, if that makes sense. So I started at 112kg with 1800cal. I found my best cal intake was 1300cal as it was what I could eat without starving, that I could fit into my meal plan, and it gave me the biggest loss. This is with 2-5 exercise sessions a week. But I also have POS and it's harder for me to lose. ANYWAY my point is that it's definitely a test at first to see what works for you.

Thank you. I can't really exercise properly since I broke my left ankle in march so I can only do very little just now. Used to be so fit and active this whole ankle thing is bringing me down and with the weight creeping up its be tough but hopefully lowering my calories to 1400 is enough. Can't wait to see the results like everyone seems to have!

Aw I'm sorry to hear that. Hope you get results anyway, they might not be as big as if you were able to exercise but you should still lose.

Everyone is different. There are many factors that affect weight loss. But 1500 kicks off weight loss for me, then 1700/1800 once the body starts responding. I find that exercise doesn't help me lose weight but it helps me maintain a steady weight and of course, keeps me fit. (and gives a nice shape)
