Can you have butter on the jacket spud. Im new to dieting

Thanks peopleperson, yeah it does hit the spot, Shaunie yes you can just add it in your food count, I used to have butter then had a bit less and bit less until I didn't need it anymore. It's what ever works for you. Good luck. Thanks both.

Pebbs - that looks gorgeous! Shaunie - I try to use Cottage Cheese on jacket spuds to replace butter. If I have a little butter I HAVE to have it smothered in butter - no half measures, so cottage cheese reduces fat content to nearly nil and still makes it taste nice. Add some chopped spring onions or chives (fresh or dried) and it gives loads of flavour too. If I am feeling really decadent I add a teaspoon of (shop bought) dried fried onions on top which adds about 30Kcal and 5gm of fat in total - so it doesn't 'break the bank'.
