I’ve lost 56kg in a year and achieved diabetic remission for at least 8 months now by eating low carb and sticking to a max of 1500kcal/day. I love this diet... loads of stuff traditionally ‘bad’ are allowed including dark chocolate, pork scratchings, and fry-ups in moderation. Can’t say I’m even missing high gi carbs either now I’ve found some low carb snacks to replace the crunch.

Thanks. It’s a daily battle for me as I have a lifelong history of self harming with food. My diabetes nurse has been amazing support. I’ve really missed seeing her face to face.
