Bella, my closets are a disaster. LOL. Little 1950's ones on the main floor and DD has one of them. DD's usually holds my t-shirts and jeans. Working on those this week also as I get the laundry caught up-- drain issues so was behind.
Time to get back to loving my life instead of simply trying to catch up.
Sorry you are also getting drowned with all this rain. My quilting studio is looking better and I am remembering how much I love time down there. DD moving in and out multiple times meant moving things down there and just cluttering it up. I had forgotten how much I love my spaces. My neck issues made sewing very difficult for about a year so out of the habit of sewing.

I have a stream running through my studio. We had to put the loom and bench up on blocks. That’s what happens when you live in an earth-contact (read, basement) 😁 I also had to turn on the heat this morning. Brrrrrrrrrrrr!

Johanne, oh my! sorry about the stream in your studio. I hope the water doesn't do much damage. We are supposed to get a break during the day with more rain moving in this evening. One of my neighbors has water in her basement. I only have once when the gutters were backed up. I need to check them but unless I can find something to safely put under the ladder legs to keep them from sinking it's not happening.

Bella, good for you!! My cat tears down my shoe organizer every time I try that method. I need to stop in 5 below and see if they have any under bed shoe containers. I have all these shoes I only wear occasionally. I mostly live in my sneakers. When I have my other upstairs closet I have hanging ones but am short a closet at the moment. DD is back home for the past 4 weeks (except one night) but most of her clothes are here.

We have only one possible day without rain, live in a small house so no exercise machines. I have weights and videos if I every stop being lazy and use them, Good for you Wholefoodnut.

Smithy, where are you located? only machines are an exercise bike and a gazelle. I do have a TRX and some weights etc. HCB you if my brain is right you are north of me.

We were right on the top edge . . . a light show, a bit of noise and loss of Direct TV signal. Of course, more water in the studio. I’m hoping it doesn’t start coming in from the back wall . . . the one against the earth. If this keeps up, it will only be a matter of time. That means the whole floor will be under. Living in a basement, I keep all power strips and extension cords off the floor. 😕
