Shingles medication finished, luckily without any horrendous side effects. Rash disappearing and pain diminished. I think I was very lucky to get to the GP quickly (within 72 hours of onset) which meant that the meds worked immediately to stop the virus multiplying and stopped the infection in its tracks! Pheeeew!
So - being as we had to cancel our mini break to Chideock (should have been there now!) we are off to the wonderful Kefalonia instead! 😃 Bagged a late deal, we are off in a couple of weeks time and will be away for our wedding anniversary!! Result!! 😎 😍
This could be the kick up the bottom I need to get back on course with the diet! 😏
