Finally figured out why I bloat when I use whey protein shakes. Dairy. I can't do dairy, can I? #slapsforehead Which is why I have to avoid milk even though I do accept the raw stuff is good for ya. Well... glad I finally worked that one out :-) I'm not sure if this means I can't do beef either. I'll experiment. I have a shipment of oily fish coming in the week so I'll see how I get on with that too. It's beginning to look like pork lamb and chicken are my default safe non-bloaty foods.

I went back on meat, ULC, and put on 2lbs. Came off ibuprofen and lost 1lb already. Staying on meat for the immediate future but I already have a load of potatoes and three cauliflower in the fridge so it won't be too long before I'm back on no-fat :-) My gums are almost ok again, just some awkwardness when I swallow.
