Tuesday and today I woke up weighing this, the other days my weight has been 113, today is my second day of the week with 500 calories, today I will do my day with 600 calories and for the weekend I have 2000 calories or a little more per day, I want to update my weight only on Mondays to avoid the ups and downs. Even out, Keilin. Eating 500 and 600 calories per day is not healthy, and jumping up to 2000 calories per day on the weekend is probably creating the ups and downs you want to avoid. My guess is that you want to cut loose and party a bit on the weekends. Toughest thing about changing your eating life is viewing most food as fuel and not necessarily as a source of fulfillment or pleasure. I am guessing you enjoy being at 112 - 113. CONGRATS to you!!! Smooth out your weight by eating something like 1200 calories each and every day and increasing your exercise and weight-lifting (light weights, not heavy ones). If you want to have one cheat meal per week, then do so . . . just eliminate one of your snacks of the day you do that. (Each day, eat three meals with the same calorie count (300 - 350) and in-between eat three healthy snacks of 120 - 160 calories or so.

GN57inGA, I completelyunderstand your concern, and I appreciate it 😊 I am doing the 5:2 diet, Intermittent Fasting, my calorie intake should be 1300- 1500 every day, but as I am having two days with only 500- 600 , "only two" my others days calories intake are : 1333, 1408, 1610 , etc

if my calories intake per day should be 1500, having two days with 500, the other days I could have 1800 and still lose the same weight at the end of the week

as far as eating only 500-600 calories for a day or two. Google "is there a minimum number of calories you should eat in a day" and read what a few of the more respected sites have to say

I've gone multiple days drinking just water. Yet, I'm still able to run 5 miles and feel just fine. However, I am FAT :) I cannot say how a person without plenty of fat stores would do if they cut their calories too low.

thanks, the other days I try to eat 1300- 1500- 2000 calories, at the end of the week my calorie intake looks like if I had ate 1300- 1500 calories per day. Lately I am not walking the five miles I used to walk, Now I am doing more strength training.
