Went out for a bracing walk today, was a bit unprepared for the drop in temperature and the strong wind!

Had a lovely carvery roast at a pub in Totnes, declined the pork crackling, yorkshire pudding, stuffing, roast parsnips and cauliflower cheese - despite the fact that I love 'em all. Had a modest plateful with only 1 roast potato. Felt quite restrained, especially as just before we went up to the carvery witnessed a guy who had just come back with what can only be described as a small mountain on his plate. He had actually finished it all and left the pub by the time we sat down again - quite scary!!

My eating habits are certainly changing! :)

Also I wore a dress/tunic today that I bought last December and have never worn.
It has an unusual shape in that the hem kind of comes in, and last year I looked like a sack of potatoes in it. It showed off all my lumps and bumps and looked horrible. :( I was contemplating donating it to the charity shop as I felt I would never ever wear it!

Today I teamed it up with a pair of grey leggings, ankle boots and a grey tweedy blazer and both hubby and I agreed that the outfit looked great, so am well pleased! :) Lumps and bumps are disappearing!!

I tried on a skirt at the weekend that a few months ago was six inches from meeting at the button and now fits perfectly - a wonderful feeling isn't it? Hoorah for disappearing lumps and bumps!

I tried a coat on in my wardrobe that I hadn't worn for 6 years and it fitted me better than it did then! Such a nice feeling isn't it? Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels, springs to mind - lol!

I do sew Maria! However, most of my wardrobe is in sizes I haven't been able to get into for years. Determined this winter I will break out my beloved Avoca skirts which I look at wistfully every now and then. I will, I will, I will!
