OK - so the most amazing thing has happened - I AM GETTING MARRIED IN JULY and need to lose 14 lbs - have decided to go low carb as this means I can eat at other peoples houses a bit - right now I am without a permanent base in the UK and am relying on other people's hospitality so flexibility is very important! Wish me luck guys! 117 days till the wedding!!

Congratulations - and good luck. Remember your partner loves you how you are and 14lbs will not make a difference to that. Also wedding dresses are sized small - don't buy one you plan to diet into unless it has a corset back ;)

So - Day 4 of low carb - so far I have done ok and stayed below 20g of carbs quite easily... but I have had black coffee as Atkins says this is ok unless you stop losing. Have cut the caffeine down though. And no booze - that has been the hardest thing especially with a holiday weekend approaching!!!
