Penlan's Journal, 16 Dec 15

I wonder why I had two main meals today - probably lack of sleep and extra exertion in the longer day. I bet it will reflect on even more weight gained tomorrow. I so missed my usual lunch, so I went and did the food shopping and just had to do it properly the second time round I guess....

Anyway, delicious it was and apparently it's ok to go crazy once in a while, shakes the old metabolism up a bit, or summat!

er - remember what I said about maintaining a minimum level of calories??? it's all about averages so if you have several days under your minimum you'll probably need the blow out to redress the balance - that bit about shaking the metabolism - it's reminding your body that it's *not* starving. Don't take my word for it, I'm not a nutrition specialist and I can only relate personal experience.

Several days under my minimum. Ok. I just recapped. In the week before my two lunches I was at around 95% of kcals and the two lunch 'blow out' was - ooh - 103%..... no great shakes in the kcals there I don't think. Or is there? I dunno, not dieted before. Maybe it's more critical than I realised.
