So, I'm stupid. With my latest shipment of whey protein, they included a sample of a fat burner. Now, I avoid these types of things because I feel that not only do they not work, but they can be dangerous. However, it was there, and I really am trying to drop one more pound before the end of my gym challenge weigh-in, so I took it this morning without doing any research on it.

And holy hell am I twitchy right now! I'm probably typing like 80 words per minute right now, before I go wander around our plant trying to burn off some of this energy. Couldn't even eat my breakfast, since my stomach is upset from this as well.

Online reviews says the affects last 10 HOURS. This is going to be a long day. I don't know how anyone could put themselves through this on a regular basis. Blech. Weightloss is not worth feeling like this.

What does the label on it say in terms of what's in it? Super-caffeine? Thyroid hormone? Speed?

Hope the side effects doesn't last ALL day... Lesson learned... Remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint... no "silver bullets"... just healthy eating and living will get you to your goal AND soon "Onederland"!!!

Btw, the simplest way to drop one pound (or more) from one day to the other (or in a few hours) is a few cups of diuretic tea. You can throw in it some laxative. Just be prepared for dehydration.

Lol, no speed, but it's got caffein and a host of other stimulant's I'm not familair with: CDP-Choline Nicotinyl-y-Aminobutyric Acid also known as Picamilon Cocoa Seed Extract Lycoris Radiata Solanum Tuberosum

And I am planning on sipping some dandelion root tea to help get ride of water weight before the weigh-in. I know that doesn't help in fat loss and isn't a long-term fix, this is purely for vanity reasons, and I want to win the contest! lol!

Ok so Ive done some research on fat burners also learned alot by trial and error. To help with today's issue you should eat something .. it will slow the effects. Dont drink too much water or you may want to gag and if you need to burp, by all means, do so bc it will alleviate some of the edginess if you get that out of the way. Gross I know but it helps. I take a non stimulant fat burner/CLA called EVL CLA1000.. no burps or edginess and great results.

Most of the fat burners have lots of caffeine. If your not used to it it can be quite a jolt, especially if your sensitive to it. I think the half-life of caffeine is 4-5 hours. The feeling should pass within that time. I don't think any commercial fat burner works anyway. Hope you feel better soon.

I'm not sure it was the caffeine that's making me twitchy. My lastest pre-workout shake I take has TONS of caffeine. And I'm a coffee addict, so I'm pretty used to it ;)

Gods, that's a nasty thing. So it's got the type of "aminoacid" (I put quotation marks as 'they' aren't really sure if it IS an aminoacid) that is the base for anti-depressant medication like Gabapentin; plus B3 - now that's not too bad, great for fighting high cholesterol - but the combination of the two (niacin + GABA) is actually a Russian patented - drug? supplement? - that is prescribed for various vascular accidents as well as an assortment of psychosis and depression illnesses; then yes, I'd think it has some caffeine at least, if it has cocoa seed extract - cocoa HAS a lot of caffeine; the "naked lady" - also named "red spider lily" or "red magic lily" - now that stumps me, as it's poisonous, bulb, leaves, flowers and all; and it also has.... potato. Yep. That is what that fancy Latin name, "solanum tuberosum" means. Plain ole potato. So probably it means it's got potato starch as filler. I'd stay away from stuff like that.

Forgot. To summarize it up, it's probably the combination of the psycho-active Picamilon + the caffeine + whoknowswhatthatdoes poisonous red lily extract that makes you twitchy

Lol, I love that they put a fancy name for potato on the ingredients list! So ridiculous. Thank you for the excellent information!! It's crazy what they've put in this. And I have absolutely no intention of taking this again, already through the rest in the trash.....

The best fat burner is.........your own muscle ! We burn more calories sitting around just maintaining that muscle! throw those weights around and you will win the gym challenge!

Oh I know, that's why weight lifting has been part of my routine for the past six weeks :) The weigh-in is tomorrow, that's the only reason I'm looking to shed some water weight. That I totally understand will come right back on.
