Good Evening, FS Warriors! Busy is my friend! If I don't stay busy, I eat. It's as simple as that. The biggest window of opportunity for failure is when I come to a rest. That's when discipline either takes over, or bows to defeat. So far today, it's victory. Here it is about 7:00 PM, and I'm about done-in for the day. By my calculations, I should be able to have about a 100 calorie snack before bedtime. Assuming FS food calendar is correct, I figured I could have 2 cups of homemade chicken and noodles tonight for supper. I did and it was delicious. I was amazed at how much food two cups really were. I should have eaten just one cup and then I would have had a pasta salad with a vinegarette dressing to accompany the meal. In any case, I was stuffed when I was done, and I don't know if either of those two options was any healthier than the other, but the good news is that I am probably going to make it through another day without going over my self-imposed RDI. I don't have much faith in the FS calculated RDI, regardless of the lifestyle I plug in to the calculation. Perhaps I could lose a little weight using their calculation, but it hasn't proven real fruitful in the past. I'm sticking with the 1800 calories a day, and it seems to be working. I know the diabetic diet is 1500 calories, but I'm not into suffering - just weight loss. Here's wishing you all have a good night's rest, and a wonderful Sunday. Toodles!
