cindylynnwho's Journal, 26 Feb 23

Sorry if I’ve missed some of your comments. I’ve been a bit overwhelmed lately between hurricane rebuilding, wrapping things up for my old job, and training for my new job. It was sad to say goodbye to my recent clients but the new opportunity is exciting and with it I can feel less worried about bills going forward. My eating and exercise has been neither amazing nor terrible. It’s a time of the month that I tend to gain anyway so I haven’t weighed the past couple days. I am thinking of doing a bike ride today instead of a run, but I haven’t used my bike yet since the storm so I have to check out what shape it is in. Speaking of mixing up my exercise, in mid March my favorite beach will reopen and I am waiting to see if they will be able to reopen the kayak launch or not. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Have a great day FS fam!

Love how you’re embracing all this change (a springtime of life)💚. Can’t wait to hear about the new job, and I completely understand about the beach closures. The authorities occasionally do that here, but it’s a neighborhood stretch and they cannot stop us locals from walking, jogging and surfing 😁.

Thanks JB! 💚 they are definitely not stopping anyone from going to the beach in spite of its official closure, but the kayak launch area is chained off. My beach was hit very hard, there were whole houses that washed up on it from a nearby beach town. So we are waiting to see if the water flow behind the chained area still supports kayaking. Might sneak back there and look if I have time.
